Lake Land College’s Community and Professional Programs will offer a seminar entitled The Silver Tsunami: Guide to Creating an Oral-Systemic Practice on Monday, June 6, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. in Webb Hall, room 081 on the Lake Land College campus.
Patti DiGangi, registered dental hygienist and professional healthcare educator, is the presenter for this seminar. She will focus on the serious implications for baby boomers, many of whom cease their routine oral care visits with retirement. Dental professionals can prepare themselves to meet these demands with a thorough knowledge of the needs and treatments specific to this demographic.
The cost is $44, which includes the seminar and a light snack. Dental hygienists will receive three continuing education hours for attending, however this seminar is open to everyone. To register online using a VISA/MC or Discover, go to lakelandcollege.edu/learn and click on Dental and then choose CE-DNTL03-42109. Register no later than June 1, 2016.
Crown Seating is donating an operator chair, valued at $848, and Lexicomp Online is donating a one-year subscription to its online drug/ePrescribing portal, valued at $399. Both will be raffled off at the seminar. All funds raised will go to the Lake Land College dental department. Drop date for a refund is five business days prior to the seminar.
