The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Effingham County, southeastern Christian County, and southwestern Shelby County until 8:45 this morning.
At 8:13am, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ramsey and traveling east at 40 miles per hour.
Locations impacted by this storm include Shelbyville, Pana, Stewardson, Cowden, Tower Hill, Beecher City, Shumway, Moccasin, Herrick, Rosamond, Clarksburg, Oconee, and Mode.
This storm could produce hail and damaging winds.
