(Chicago, IL) — Governor Rauner will no longer be hosting a Juneteenth event today in Chicago. The governor canceled the visit over security concerns. Rauner was set to speak at the DuSable Museum of African American History. The cancellation comes after Chicago Priest Father Michael Pfleger criticized the appearance on Facebook, calling it disrespectful to the African-American Community.
