The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for our entire Illinois listening area.
Severe storms will be possible this afternoon and evening. Hail and wind will be the primary hazards. There is a marginal risk of severe storms Tuesday night. There is a slight risk of severe storms on Wednesday afternoon/evening. Wind and hail will be the primary hazards. Isolated thunderstorms are again possible Saturday into Sunday.
Meanwhile, for our friends in Indiana, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for our entire Indiana listening area.
Thunderstorms will be possible from mid afternoon onward across portions of central Indiana. A few storms may be strong to severe at times. Hazards: Lightning, heavy rain, damaging winds and large hail. Thunderstorms will be possible at times through Thursday night. Some of these storms may be severe at times, particularly Wednesday and Wednesday night, when the potential will exist for a widespread damaging wind event. Damaging winds will be the primary threat with any severe storms. Heavy rain will be a threat and lightning is a threat with any storm. Storms will also be possible next weekend.
