Cory G. Lampe, age 26 of Mattoon, was arrested on June 24th at 9:38 a.m. in the 1000 block of Edgar Ave. He was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and Resisting a Peace Officer. The charges allege that Lampe fled from the scene of a traffic stop and that he was in possession of methamphetamine that he intended to sell. Lampe was apprehended after a foot chase and taken to the jail.
