Red, White and Blue Days get underway today in Charleston. Vendors will open at 3:00. Nestor Andress will perform at 6:30, followed by the farmer of the year and little mister and miss firecracker presentations. At 8:00, it’s Brothers Osborne, live. Concerts are free, but you do need to bring lawn chairs or blankets. It’s a full day of activities on the 4th including the pancake breakfast, 4-mile run and walk, pet parade in the morning and the traditional parade at 1:00, all-you-can-eat ice cream for just 2-dollars and live music from Captain Rat and the Blind Rivets. The celebration will wrap up with the Coles County Fireworks Spectacular at the airport.
