As of 8:55 last night, a suspect was still at large in Jasper County, possibly in the Hidalgo area. At around 4:00 yesterday afternoon, an Hispanic male, approximately 49 years of age, ran from an Illinois State trooper. At the time he dropped a gun and got away. Officers say the man also had a bag with him. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department considers him armed and dangerous.
