The Lake Land College Board of Trustees will meet tonight where they will vote on the proposed 2016-17 college budget. The $73.2 million dollar balanced budget is set up for an expected reduction in state funding of 50% and also projects a 3 percent decline in enrollment. A public hearing on the proposed budget is scheduled to be held at the beginning of the board meeting at 6 tonight at the Kluthe Center, room 220, in Effingham.
