Graduating high school seniors did a little better this year on their ACT college entrance exams. The state board of education says seniors earned a composite score of 20-point-8 out of 36 this year, a tenth-of-a-point higher than last year and right at the national average. Seniors scored at or above the national average in English, math and science, but were slightly behind in reading.
