According to a press release from the Mattoon Police Department, Jonathan M. Johnson, age 32 of Mattoon, was arrested by the Mattoon Police Department, on Saturday Sept. 17th at 8:43 p.m. in the 700 block of S. 24th street. Johnson was charged with Domestic Battery. The charge alleges that Johnson battered a female. He was taken to the jail.
