In conjunction with the 18th Street Block Party this Saturday, September 24th, the Charleston Police Canine Units will be on hand in the Bike & Hike parking lot. The K-9 officers, Sgt. Heath Thornton and Officer Chris Darimont and their canine partners Kye and Vito, will be selling Krispy Kreme Donuts to raise money for the canine program. A canine demonstration is planned for 11:30 a.m. as well. Come out and have fun.
