Eastern Illinois University will open its doors to area kids to celebrate Halloween. Trick-or-treaters are invited to Greek Court on Halloween night from 5-7. A Halloween-themed children’s carnival will be offered in the “egg” at the center of Greek Court. On the other side of campus, Halloween arts, crafts and games will take over the lobby of Stevenson Hall, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Competitive pumpkin painting will take place in the Thomas Hall lobby, and Andrews Hall will offer Bozo Buckets and “make-your-own” Blow Pop ghosts in the lobby from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission to all events is free, but donations will be accepted at Stevenson Hall for the Paradise Equestrian Therapy Center. Other seasonal activities on the EIU campus include the annual Fright Night concert, featuring the Eastern Symphony Orchestra at 6:00pm on October 30th in Dvorak Concert Hall.
