Chicago Police Ramping Up Security For World Series
(Chicago, IL) — Chicago police will be ramping up security in Wrigleyville for the World Series. Superintendent Eddie Johnson says starting tomorrow, more than one-thousand law enforcement officers will be patrolling the area around Wrigley Field. Fans can also expect rotating street closures, increased traffic enforcement, parking restrictions, random bag inspections and counterfeit ticket enforcement. The Cubs are hosting the Indians in the Fall Classic for three straight games beginning tomorrow night.
