A viral infection on the University of Illinois campus is growing. The “Champaign News-Gazette” reports just over 70-cases of hand, foot and mouth disease have surfaced since the beginning of the semester. That number has gone up from 60-plus a week ago. The illness can cause fever, sore throat and reduced appetite before developing into blistering sores.
