Gene A. Crickman, 76 of Sullivan formerly of Findlay passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at St. Mary Hospital in Decatur. Born July 27, 1940 in Decatur he was the son of Guy and Telitha (Sutton) Crickman. On December 31, 1994 he and Jackie Woodrow were united in marriage.
Gene proudly served with the United State Marine Corp. and was a member of the Findlay American Legion Post 409 and Assumption VFW. Gene worked many years at A.E. Staley in Decatur and owned and operated Crickman Landscaping in Findlay. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and playing cards.
Surviving are his wife Jackie of Sullivan, daughters Valerie (David) Larck of Lovington, Wendy (Danny) Milam of Grand Saline, TX, Melody Crickman of Henderson, NV, Brandy Woodrow of Sullivan, six grandchildren Adam Larck, Jenelle Milam, Cassidy Milam, Bailey Root, Hunter Lucas, Brooklynn “Boogie” Cripe, three sisters Eloise Alton, Elva Gerhold, Rosemary Dagen, numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one daughter Tammy Davenport and a sister Trela Virden.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Findlay. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Findlay. Burial will be at the Findlay Cemetery with Military honors by the Findlay American Legion.
