On Tuesday, November 8th, at noon, the Coles County Courthouse will have an opening ceremony for a time capsule that was placed in the northeast corner of the courthouse lawn on December 26th, 1898. The time capsule will be dug up and immediately taken to court room #1 on the 2nd floor to reveal the contents.
