Poll: Bayh, Young In Dead Heat For Senate Seat
(Indianapolis, IN) — Evan Bayh and Todd Young are in a dead heat for Indiana’s open Senate seat. A new Monmouth University poll shows the two candidates tied with 45 percent of the vote to replace retiring Senator Dan Coats. The poll also shows GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump regaining strength since mid-October. And, in the governor’s race, Democratic candidate John Gregg leads Lieutenant Governor Eric Holcomb 48 percent to 42 percent.
