Senior Care, a department of Paris Community Hospital/Family Medical Center, welcomes two new therapists to its team of behavioral health professionals.
Both therapists are licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) who join Connie Rhoads, also a LCSW at Senior Care, in providing individual, group, and family counseling services.
Jody Janosik, LSCW, of Mattoon, joins Senior Care as a full-time therapist. She earned her master’s degree in social work from Ohio State University. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio, and holds certification as a pharmacy technician from North Seattle Community College. Janosik has experience in substance abuse treatment, family therapy, and all types of behavioral and mental health issues. She has practiced in Ohio, Effingham, and Edgar and Clark counties.
Terra Ogle, LCSW, of Paris, will provide therapy services at Senior Care on an as-needed basis. She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Champaign. She has a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences, also from the University of Illinois, and studied elementary education at Eastern Illinois University. Ogle has experience as a school mental health crisis clinician, and has been a director of outpatient services for a mental health center. She has provided therapy, supervised programs, and has been instrumental in program development.
Senior Care is a voluntary behavioral health service for Medicare patients ages 65 and older, as well as Medicare disability patients. The department was created to assist older adults with life’s challenges, including depression, grief, anxiety, loneliness, cognitive problems, and other emotional/psychiatric conditions.
