Illinois lawmakers are making an effort to override Governor Rauner’s veto of a voter registration bill. The Senate voted yesterday to override Rauner’s veto of a measure that would automatically register eligible voters in the state when they receive or renew a driver’s license or state ID. The bill now goes to the House.
