NU’s Schapiro Is Highest-Paid Private University President In Illinois
(Undated) — Northwestern president Morton Schapiro is the highest-paid private university president in Illinois. A report released by the Chronicle of Higher Education reveals Schapiro made two-point-35-million-dollars in 2014. That figure ranked him number-six among private university leaders in the country. University of Chicago president Robert Zimmer came in second in the state with a salary of just over two-million-dollars.
