A personal vehicle crash Wednesday, December 7th sends one to the hospital in Clark County.
According to a recent press release from Illinois State Police District 12, Kasey Iffert of Noble, IL (unit 1) was travelling east bound on I-70 at mile post 137 in Clark County around 12:50 AM when she suddenly became ill. As Iffert pulled the vehicle to the shoulder of the road, she lost control and drove off the roadway into a drainage where the vehicle then overturned.
With the driver were three passengers, Sara Keck of Cisne, IL, Barbra Staser of Effingham, IL, and Tamara Boerngen also of Effingham. Staser was transported to Union Hospital in Terre Haute with minor injuries and Iffert was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
