According to a recent press release from Illinois State Police, four arrests were made in Mattoon, IL the evening of Tuesday, December 6th surrounding the distribution and delivery of a controlled substance.
The East Central Illinois Task Force and the Coles County Crisis Response Team had executed a search warrant at 808 S. 9th Street in Mattoon which resulted after a month long investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine. Located at the residence and arrested from the warrant were Ron R. Cole of Peoria, IL, Justin J. Sargent of Peoria, IL, and Monica L. Bailey of Mattoon, IL. All three were arrested with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver Within 1,000 Feet of a School.
On the same evening, East Central Illinois Task Force and Coles County Crisis Response Team executed another search warrant at Old State Village Lot #13 in Mattoon, IL after a month long investigation into the distribution of Crack Cocaine in Mattoon. As a result from the investigation Lydia N. Phillips, of Mattoon, IL was arrested for Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
All four subjects are being held at the Coles County Jail at this time.
