One remains in critical care after a single vehicle rollover crash occurred along US Route 36 Eastbound at Moultrie County Road 1300 East the morning of Tuesday, December 13th at 9:37 AM.
According to a recent press release from Illinois State Police District 10, preliminary details indicate the driver (not yet identified, but is male) of a 2005 Chevrolet Pickup was traveling east when he lost control of the vehicle due to the icy roadway. The truck then left the roadway into the south ditch, rolled over and came to a rest in the field. The driver was ejected and thrown from the truck then transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
