Central East Alcoholism and Drug Council is offering a free research-based substance abuse prevention program called “Guiding Good Choices.” The program is for parents/caregivers/grandparents who want to strengthen family bonds and reduce the risk factors associated with teenage drug use. This five week series will be offered in Mattoon on Jan. 16, 23, 30, Feb. 6, & 13, at CEAD Council’s Adolescent Outpatient Office 5:30-7:30 p.m. The class will be offered in Charleston on Jan. 25, Feb. 1, 8, 15 & 22 at 720 4th St. from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments provided.
