Illinois’ new legislature is going to include two new lawmakers from the Quad Cites. Lawmakers are set to start a new term in Springfield next week. Mike Halpin is a Democrat and Tony McCombie is a Republican. They’re both replacing retiring lawmakers. Both say their biggest priority is getting a budget for the state.
