U Of I Offering Another In-State Tuition Freeze
(Urbana, IL) — Students from Illinois are looking at a slightly lower cost to attend the biggest public university in the state. The University of Illinois yesterday proposed another tuition freeze for in-state students. It’d be the third year in a row. Out of state students would see their tuition jump almost two percent. The proposal means tuition alone for an Illinoisstudent would stay at about 12-thousand dollars a year. Total cost for Illinois students at the U of I is about 35-thousand dollars a year.
