Paris Community Hospital/Family Medical Center welcomes the community to attend its fourth annual “Wear Red Luncheon” on Friday, February 3, at noon, at Café France in Paris.
The event will feature Chef Wade Fulford, manager of Gordon Food Services in Terre Haute, who will provide a cooking demonstration of healthy side dishes. Chef Fulford plans to prepare two couscous dishes – one being a dessert and the other a light salad. Attendees will be able to sample the foods and will receive the actual recipes.
Chef Fulford has done numerous cooking demonstrations on WTWO television. His Terre Haute store was awarded Gordon Food Service’s Store of the Year for 2016. Chef Fulford has been cooking professionally for 15 years within the stadium, university, healthcare, and retail venues. He is active in middle school basketball, high school culinary classes, and is a member of many civic and social organizations in the community.
All community women are invited to bring their sisters, daughters, coworkers, and friends to the February 3 event. They are encouraged to wear red and join PCH/FMC as it supports the fight against heart disease. Feel free to come and go as your lunch period allows.
The lunch cost is $20 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the Paris Community Hospital registration desk or at the Paris Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. For more information, call Leighsa Cornwell at 217-465-2606, Ext. 228.
