According to a Mattoon Police Department press release, Maria B. Jones, age 28 of Mattoon, was arrested on Jan. 13th at 10:55 p.m. at the MPD. She was charged with Domestic Battery. The charge alleges that she battered a male. Jones was taken to the jail.
