Judge Sets July 11th Trial Date For Aaron Schock
(Springfield, IL) — Former Illinois Congressman Aaron Schock is looking at a mid-July trial. A judge yesterday scheduled Schock’s trial to begin on July 11th. Schock is facing fraud and theft charges, prosecutors say he lied on government reimbursement forms and campaign spending reports. Schock asked for the trial to be delayed to the summer, he says to prepare nearly 100 witnesses.
