Police And Protesters Prepare For Inauguration
(Washington, DC) — The stage is set for Inauguration Day in Washington DC. Security is heavy and fences are up along the parade route. Five-thousand National Guard members and more than three-thousand cops from across the country have arrived to help local police. Their presence is not only for the crowds expected at the Inauguration, but the protesters. Disrupt J20 is just one of more than two-dozen groups receiving protest permits. The DC-based organization is determined to bring the inauguration parade to a halt while “Bikers for Trump” is promising to build a wall of meat around pro-Trump supporters to protect them.
