Kansas State’s Snyder Diagnosed With Throat Cancer
(Manhattan, KS) — Long-time Kansas State head football coach Bill Snyder has been diagnosed with throat cancer. Snyder announced Monday that he has been receiving outpatient treatment for about three weeks. Doctors say his prognosis is excellent and Snyder expects to be on the field for the start of spring practice next month. The 77-year-old Hall of Fame coach will be entering his 27th season overall at K-State. He’s 202-105-and-1 in two stints with the Wildcats.
