A Pennsylvania woman faces charges after an accident on I-70 in Clark County. Illinois State Police say a tractor-trailer was stopped on the shoulder with a flat tire, when a vehicle driven by Megan Horton struck the left rear corner of the rig. The impact caused Horton’s Suburban to begin rolling over until coming to a stop in the ditch after hitting a tree and some brush. A passenger in Horton’s vehicle had to be extricated from the vehicle. Horton and the passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Horton was charged with no valid driver’s license, improper lane usage, and she and her passenger were ticketed for failure to wear seat belts.
