According to WCIA online, it will soon be easier to start a new business in Illinois. This last Friday May 5th, the Senate passed a bill to help lower the cost of starting a limited liability company (LLC). Supporters of the bill say it should attract new businesses to the state and help economically. Right now it costs about $500 to start an LLC, but now could be about $35. The Senate approved the bill unanimously and consideration to pass now rests with the House, which looks likely to pass as well.
