The Tri-County 8th grade girls’ track team is the state champion. Katelyn Lang was a four-time winner: 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, discus and anchoring the 4×200 meter relay that set a new state record. Kaylenn Hunt tied the state long jump record with a leap of 17’ 4.5. Neoga was the state-runner up for the 8th grade boys. Paris Crestwood finished third, and St. Anthony, fourth. The Arcola 7th grade boys finished fourth.
