A teenage girl was killed in a single-vehicle accident last night in Crawford County. According to the Illinois State Police, the 16-year-old, from Robinson, was driving at a high rate of speed on County Road 900 North when the vehicle struck gravel, causing the driver to lose control. The car struck a ditch causing it to overturn and strike a tree. Five other occupants – 13, 14 and 17-year-old boys, and a 14 and 17-year old girls, all from Robinson, were taken to Crawford Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
