A Maryland man faces multiple charges after a crash on I-70. According to the Illinois State Police, 24-year-old Derek Plastow was westbound on I-70 when he left the roadway and entered the median, then traveled back into the westbound lanes, sliding sideways and rolling over and coming to a stop on its wheels. He then took the Altamont exit ramp and came to a rest in a private residence’s yard. Plastow was charged with improper lane usage, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal transportation of alcohol, and leaving the scene of an accident.
