One man was killed in a four vehicle accident yesterday in Cumberland County. According to the Illinois State Police, a tractor-trailer driven by 24-year-old Cole Johnson, of Shelbyville failed to stop in a construction zone and struck the rear of a car driven by 61-year-old Daniel Waterfill, of Plainfield, Indiana, causing a chain reaction involving two other tractor-trailers. Waterfill died at the scene. Johnson was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
