The semi driver involved in a deadly accident that occurred in July in Flora was taken into custody by the Clay County Sheriff’s Department. 62-year-old Walter Pollock, of Sikeston, Missouri struck vehicles driven by Eric Bosel, of Noble, and Jacob Stewart, of Olney, both of whom were killed. Pollock is charged with three counts of aggravated driving while under the influence of drugs, two counts of reckless homicide, possession of methamphetamine, on-duty commercial driver driving while under the influence of drugs, and possession of drugs by an on-duty commercial driver. Pollock posted bond and was released. A preliminary hearing was set for September 13th.
