Two people were injured in an accident yesterday afternoon in Cumberland County. According to the Illinois State Police, a tractor-trailer driven by William Perreault, of Missouri, was eastbound on I-70 near a construction zone, when his vehicle rear-ended an SUV driven by Winifred Brammer, also of Missouri. Brammer and her passenger were transported to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. Perreault was ticketed for failure to reduce speed.
