Wheaton College Football Players Plead Not Guilty To Violent Hazing
(Wheaton, IL) — Four Wheaton College football players are denying allegations that they violently hazed a teammate last year. Each pleaded not guilty yesterday in DuPage County court to charges of aggravated battery, mob action and unlawful restraint. The teammate claims the players bound him with duct tape, beat him and left him half naked on a baseball field with two torn shoulders. A fifth player charged in the case is set to be arraigned next month.
