According to a press release from the MPD, Mattoon police arrested Kevin R. Malone, age 57 of Mattoon, on Saturday Oct. 28th 2017 at 5:42 p.m. The arrest occurred in the 1000 block of N. 15th street. Malone was charged with Driving while License Revoked and Possession of Methamphetamine. The charges allege that he was operating a motor vehicle on a public street after his license had been revoked, and that he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Malone was taken to the jail.
