A Mattoon woman has been charged with aggravated battery following an incident that occurred yesterday at Hardee’s. According to the Mattoon Police Department, 28-year-old Stephanie Golden allegedly created a disturbance by yelling and cursing through the drive-up window, due to not being satisfied with her food order. The charge alleges Golden then spit on the employee through the window.
