Mattoon Police arrested Morgan M.L. Abernathy, 27 of Charleston, for the offense of Possession of Methamphetamine. The arrest occurred on 12/24/17 in the 1900 block of Charleston Ave in Mattoon. The charge alleges Mr. Abernathy was in possession of Methamphetamine at the time of being pulled over on a traffic stop. Mr. Abernathy was taken to the Coles County Safety and Detention Center.
