The site of the Las Vegas mass shooting could eventually become home to a police training facility.
MGM said it was in “preliminary” talks to transfer part of the 16 acre venue in Las Vegas Village where the Route 91 concert took place to Metro Police for a SWAT training facility. Some have estimated the entire property could be worth as much as 30-million-dollars. It’s unclear whether MGM is selling the property or donating the land as a gift to Clark County.
