Mattoon Police arrested Tyler L. Gray, 23 years of age of Mattoon, for the offense of Domestic Battery and Criminal Damage to State Supported Property. The arrest occurred on 1/22/18 at 7:53pm in the 1400 block of Charleston Ave in Mattoon.
The charges allege that on 1/22/18, Mr. Gray battered a female with a lit cigarette, as well as with his hands. The charges also allege during the time of arresting Mr. Gray, he became upset and head butted the exterior of a police vehicle, causing damage to the exterior molding.
Mr. Gray was taken to the Coles County Jail.
