Gronkowski’s Home Burglarized While New England Plays In Super Bowl
(Foxboro, MA) — Thieves robbed the home of New England’s Rob Gronkowski as he tried to rally his team to a win in Sunday’s Super Bowl. Foxboro, Massachusetts police say they received a call last night from the Gronkowski home. Police Chief William Baker said this morning, “this is an active and dynamic criminal investigation.” Baker confirmed the robbery occurred while Gronkowski was away in Minnesota playing the Philadelphia Eagles.
Gronkowski is not the only athlete to be robbed while he was playing on the biggest stage. Los Angeles Dodgers’ outfielder Yasiel Puig’s home was broken into as his team was playing the Houston Astros in Game 7 of the World Series last November.
