Sigel St. Michael’s will play for the state championship in boys’ 8th grade basketball this week. Led by Craig Croy’s 38 points, the Sharpshooters pounded Annawan, 67-22 in the first round. Croy stayed hot in the semifinals, putting in 30 points in a 45-40 victory over Lovejoy. They’ll face Peoria St. Mark Thursday night at 7:30.
