“Harry Potter” Debuts On Broadway
(New York, NY) — “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is opening to rave reviews. The “New York Post” said they’d never seen anything quite like it, calling it Broadway magic. While the “New York Times” said the more-than-five-hour-long show, which is presented in two parts, is now the gold standard for fantasy franchise entertainment. There are no songs in the play and ushers hand out buttons to patrons asking them to “keep the secrets” of what happens on stage. The budget for this production is 68-million-dollars, the most ever spent on a nonmusical Broadway production.
