A traffic incident is under investigation by Illinois State Police. Preliminary details in a recent press release from ISP District 10 indicates a Dodge Caravan driven by a 26 year old female from Monticello, IL was driving along I-74 west, between exits 182 and 181 in Champaign County when the driver’s side window shattered for unknown reasons causing glass shards to strike a 3 year-old male passenger causing minor injuries. The driver was not injured and the cause of the window shatter is still under investigation.
