The Mattoon American Legion will have a quarter auction for the Mattoon Exchange Club on May 17th. The auction will feature 20- plus vendors with crafts, purses, wallets, yard décor, make-up, kitchenware and more. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the bidding begins at 6:30. It’s open to the public.
